‘Windplanblauw’

In the northwest of the Flevopolder in the municipalities of Dronten and Lelystad, the realisation of Windplanblauw is taking place; a project in which 74 wind turbines will be replaced by 61 larger turbines, partly on land and partly in the IJsselmeer. CEMS was involved in the 2nd opinion of the dewatering design for the excavation of the 37 foundations for the onshore wind turbines.

Due to the green electricity produced by the wind turbines, this project makes a substantial contribution to the Energy Agreement of the province of Flevoland. The new outer dike wind turbines in the IJsselmeer are part of a larger initiative by SwifterwinT and Vattenfall: a wind farm on land and water in the municipalities of Dronten and Lelystad, where 74 wind turbines will be replaced by a total of 61 modern turbines with more power.
