We are excited to announce the release of PileCore V3.0, our latest major update designed to enhance the user experience with a number of improvements and new features. After months of diligent work, we are excited to bring you this upgrade.

Important Note:
The current version, V2.0, will remain available for the next six months. After this period, V2.0 will no longer be accessible. Rest assured, we will keep V2.0 on our servers for exceptional cases involving archived projects.

What's New in PileCore V3.0:
We have made significant improvements to both the Software Development Kit (SDK) and the API of PileCore. Here is a short overview of the key changes:

Software Development Kit (SDK):

Key Features of PileCore V3.0:

1. Revision Pile Properties Scheme:

  • Modular Pile Construction: It is now possible to build your pile modularly and customize it (see image below):
    1. Combination of steel and concrete
    2. Vary the tip and shaft diameter, for instance it is possible to have a small tip with large shaft diameter.
    3. Set up 2 different pile geometries for different soil layers
  • Standard Pile Definitions: Introduction of other standard pile definitions.

2. Performance Improvements:

  • Optimized calculation tasks: Faster processing with a significant runtime optimization of 400-500%, tested for a project with more than 60 CPT's.

3. Renaming other parameters:

  • ξ parameter: The ξ parameter can now be overridden.
  • alpha_t renaming: alpha_t has been renamed to alpha_t_sand.

4. Enhanced Validation Testing:

  • Increased Accuracy and Reliability: Additional validation tests have been have been conducted, leading to more bug fixes and overall improved performance.

With these updates, PileCore V3.0 promises to be more efficient, reliable, and futureproof than before!
